You see these tropes of cats and Christmas trees, but there is much truth to them although maybe not this one.
In 1972, we had two cats and a Christmas tree. Sue was in the hospital for a number of days having our first child, and I swear that every time I came home, I had to redo the tree
Here are some other images that I have grabbed from the web and stored on my desktop until it suited me to post them.

This post was a fun start to the week, thanks AC. My favorite was the church sign.
A friend of mine used to have the chicken one framed in her kitchen!
Monday morning chuckles - thank you. I like the church sign.
The bluebird of happiness one is a lol for me!
Thanks for the chuckles.
They all made me laugh out loud! My favorite though this the hoity toity cat. :-)
That last one is a bit worrying.
I needed that but .... what Vicki said. Urp.
I have very vivid memories of what happens to a cat who ate tinsel off of the family Christmas tree. It was hilarious and horrifying at the same time.
I really liked the image of the tree surrounded by the chain-link fence! And, the tuxedo cat with the perfect white mustache…… too damn cute for words!!!!!!

Gracious hostility seems to be my state of mind frequently. LOL I have an issue with Mari getting into the ornaments which is why I choose only unbreakable ones. I am guilty of driving the clown car!
Love the chicken of depression!
Our cat chewed through a string of lights once (the lights were not on), but has left the tree alone ever since. I'm happy she's a good girl!
Gracious Hostility sounds like a title for a romantic comedy.
I just love the memes put together as a fun exercise. So entertaining. Love the last one the best
Then there is Daisy, who burned her tongue chewing on our tree!
Thanks! A good chuckle is the best way to start a day!
