You see these tropes of cats and Christmas trees, but there is much truth to them although maybe not this one.
In 1972, we had two cats and a Christmas tree. Sue was in the hospital for a number of days having our first child, and I swear that every time I came home, I had to redo the tree
Here are some other images that I have grabbed from the web and stored on my desktop until it suited me to post them.
This post was a fun start to the week, thanks AC. My favorite was the church sign.
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine used to have the chicken one framed in her kitchen!
ReplyDeleteMonday morning chuckles - thank you. I like the church sign.
ReplyDeleteThe bluebird of happiness one is a lol for me!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chuckles.
ReplyDeleteThey all made me laugh out loud! My favorite though this the hoity toity cat. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat last one is a bit worrying.
ReplyDeleteI needed that but .... what Vicki said. Urp.
ReplyDeleteI have very vivid memories of what happens to a cat who ate tinsel off of the family Christmas tree. It was hilarious and horrifying at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI really liked the image of the tree surrounded by the chain-link fence! And, the tuxedo cat with the perfect white mustache…… too damn cute for words!!!!!!

Gracious hostility seems to be my state of mind frequently. LOL I have an issue with Mari getting into the ornaments which is why I choose only unbreakable ones. I am guilty of driving the clown car!
ReplyDeleteLove the chicken of depression!
ReplyDeleteOur cat chewed through a string of lights once (the lights were not on), but has left the tree alone ever since. I'm happy she's a good girl!
ReplyDeleteGracious Hostility sounds like a title for a romantic comedy.
ReplyDeleteI just love the memes put together as a fun exercise. So entertaining. Love the last one the best
ReplyDeleteThen there is Daisy, who burned her tongue chewing on our tree!
ReplyDeleteThanks! A good chuckle is the best way to start a day!
