The Box of Time

It is Monday morning. No really it is, even if you insist that it is Tuesday. Which it also is. It is like Schrodinger’s Box — both Monday and Tuesday and who knows if the cat is alive or dead or both.

I awoke early, at 5 with help from Lacey, may the universe bless her  I am sitting in my chair under a heated blanket and have been reading your posts. I usually read from the computer, but I am relaxed and taking my sweet time in my comfy chair this morning

But when I get to the end of my blog list in Feedly and refresh the page, lo and behold, there are a half dozen more posts. You all are having a highly productive morning. It must be winter, and, like me, you're all indoors with nothing better to do. Yeah, it’s cold here at -12C, and we are sort of stuck indoors, but not all of you really have winter. Not really. So what is your excuse, eh?

By way of nothing, I have this ↓  for your consideration. It was recently emailed to me.

What a bargain! But it should have been sent to Sue and not me!

BTW, it is harder to type a post from an iPad than a computer. Some strange things have happened, which I shan't bother describing. I think I will edit this on the computer and post it from there.

I have only ever used an IPad so I have no concept of how easy it is to do a blog from a computer.

I find 15 posts in the morning is the average number in my feed. Lately is it twice that. I am glad my eyes are fixed!

I try to write my posts ahead of time and schedule them to go up at 5 am.
It's negative 4 degrees here this morning at 8 am.

8:30 am, but I have been up quite a while. Blue sky, at least, if it has to be so, um censored, cold. Not enough brain cells firing to post.
Three early bird turkeys on the feeding station.
Second cup of coffee looks like a necessity just now.

THanks for telling me of the synchronicity of your coming post to the one I put up today on COPD. But the real telling part is that we both probably posted them and pre-dated them...so if we wrote the at a similar time, that would be a telling point of how the universe is blowing things into our brains. However, now that I thought of that, I have no idea when I wrote today's blog post. So to reply to this one, it's only 17 F here, and I've finally decided that the blinds and curtains on my big windows will help my plants and myself at night. But we all are sun lovers, so must open to sun and sky and mountain views in daylight. I was staggering around at 7:30 before much light, and am still on my first cup, but it's already cold at 8:30

It is a chilly time. I don't think my iPad enjoyed being used in the cold last week & now I'm having problems keeping it charged. I shall begin my mantra of "technology is my friend, technology is my friend ..."

Of course that email may have been just a smidge in words crossed ... maybe it should be the book title of a Louise Penny book ... "A Better Man".

Heavens!! At that price one could get several. Nice to have around the house.

The ad made me laugh out loud.

I was up and out the door at 6:30 to provide a ride for someone to get to work. It was 6 degrees here. Balmy, compared to you. But, I am back home now, and I can tell you that I have no plans of heading out the door again until it warms up a bit.

I hate anything but a desktop for composing. If I have typed something stupid, you can bet your bottom dollar that I'm typing on my phone or the tablet.

I just got my first iPad ever this Christmas. It has been a challenge just responding to comments on it. I can't image trying to do a whole post, especially when I'm used to typing 80 or 90 words a minutes on my desktop.

I schedule my posts for midnight.

I got up early and watched a TV show from my Kindle. Something I have never done, but trying to keep the noise low, as hubby sleeps another two hours.

I've certainly been posting way more since the pandemic because I'm not very busy. Or I am... but blogging helps me de-compress. I blog from my laptop. I tried once from my phone and wanted to tear out my hair/throw the phone across the room.

I read and comment on my ipad and typing those comments is a pain. That's why my comments are usually so short!

The only time I try to write and/or comment from my iPad is when I'm traveling. I really miss having a real keyboard. I wonder what that ad really is selling? :-)

I read blogs best in the morning but if I don't check in later in the day, I realize by morning the list has expanded beyond my capabilities! The computer is far easier for commenting and reading though, but I can see why it was hard to pass up the heated blanket on cold mornings!

I find it extremely difficult to post from my iPad also. I prefer writing posts on my desk top.
