On my recent silly trilly (aka trillium) morning, I happened to drive by a field with a greening copse of trees over yonder. As you know, I am currently quite taken with the greening stage.
This roadside stop compensated a little bit for my trilly troubles.
I think most trees are pretty well leafed now, so I doubt if I will have any more springy greeny photos to share. You never know what I might still come across, though.
I like the greening phase, too. It always makes the trees look so misty.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, I closed my two google blogs and now just blog at:

I hope you'lll stop by.
After all the winter white photos, seeing spring greens is surely a welcome break for you. The trees here were very slow to bud and bloom, but in the past two weeks there’s been a lot of greens.
ReplyDeleteI love that short-lived spring green, full of promise.
ReplyDeleteBaby leaves have the lightest brightest greens...and they are fragil looking too. Love both these shots of them, with the closeup to frame the "copse." That's a word I don't see often these days!
ReplyDeleteThe leaves have really popped open here this week.
ReplyDeleteSo many greens, so little time before they blend. Nice!
ReplyDeleteSo, what went wrong with the trillia?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I love the different shades of green.
ReplyDelete@Mary: If you mean the post, I undid it all as in accidental delete. First time in 20 years, I think.
ReplyDeleteIn terms of the photos, they were difficult for me to get what with terrain and distance and light vs shadow.
Beautiful views of the trees!
ReplyDeleteI love that spring chartreuse leafy mist!
ReplyDeleteOur woods are now all a rich deep green. I love visting the bloss of those north of me so that I can visit spring again and again.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite time of year with all that new green. Great photos, AC.
ReplyDeleteI love spring. I'm so happy for you.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
