I have one more set of robin-in-the-bath photos. The photos that I posted yesterday were taken more than a week ago, but the forget-me-nots are tall now. I wanted to take some more photos with them surrounding the bath. and almost obscuring the bird.
I didn't know robins were such dirty birdies. It seems to be staying for a soak and spa day. Beautiful pics. Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeleteThose forget-me-nots are so pretty. You are a boss grower!
ReplyDeleteFun photos of the Robin bathing. I like the idea of a ground bird bath.
ReplyDeleteGreat spa pictures of the robin! The flower shaped bath is probably too deep for most birds. If you dump a bunch of pebbles in or glass marbles, they might reconsider using it. Just an idea.
ReplyDeleteCute robin shots amongst the flowers!
ReplyDeleteGood photos (of course, coming from you all) and I'm thrilled also with the rustic bird baths, which they also admire.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely series!
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed the past few posts showing the bird bathing in your backyard. I just noticed that there were lots of letter Bs in that previous statement, so now there should be some actual bees, perhaps? It is great to keep a camera and telephoto lens handy for shots like these and more!
ReplyDeleteActually, I prefer the last photo of the blue bath and the pink flowers. Nice contrast of colors. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love the shots of the birdie bathing with the flowers around it. It's a bird spa indeed!
ReplyDeleteI would love a bird bath! I noticed the robin is quite dark so went to look it up. There is an American robin, which is much darker than our European species. A good day is when I have learned something new.
ReplyDeleteGreat Spotting of the robin. They are agile to track on camera.
ReplyDeleteStill no bathing birds here.
ReplyDeleteCleanliness matters…. and is darn cute, too.

Yoiu might try putting a rock in the deeper one. That worked well for one of our birdbaths.
ReplyDeleteThe robin bathing is a great picture.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful birds!
ReplyDeleteThese are charming, AC. That robin though! I think he poses for you on purpose. Trying to be famous, maybe? That rustic looking birdbath is really nice.
ReplyDeleteI used to love seeing robins return in spring. Gee... I haven't seen a robin in ages and ages. It's time to plan a visit to see my daughter in Illinois.
