I've been confused a lot lately, especially Saturday evening when the catheter tubing came undone four times. I was rather pissed about that, quite literally.
We are not sure what happened, but it hasn't occurred since then.
I was confused when I bought light track pants that weren't very light at all. And then I was confused about where the receipt went to return the one (of two) pair that I hadn't yet worn.
Basically, as she has been doing a lot lately, Sue was key to getting me on the right path, which more or less amounted to, "Here, let me do it."
I now have several pairs of truly light track pants, and the catheter has remained faithfully compliant.
But in many ways, I remain confused.

Well thank goodness for Sue. Your confused state might just have something to do with your urinary tract woes ... at least that is what I read, that sometimes an UTI can cause confusion. Maybe another afternoon nap with Lacey is just what the doctor might order.
Let 'She who is not Confused' take care of matters for now. In our house, we take turns with that role.
Mention your confusion to your doctor. It's a symptom they need to be aware of. Not unusual if you've developed a UTI. Might need antibiotics. Just an idea.
I agree with Boud.
I am so glad you have Sue to help you. What a blessing.
Wow, what a lot of unexpected things to deal with. No wonder you're confused!
Confusion is my constant companion.
I too agree with Boud above. At least you recognize your confusion because many times those with UTI don't.
It is probably a good idea to give the dr a call. At least you wouldn't have to worry.
I am a bit late in catching up on blog reading, AC, but it seems you have been having quite the time (once again) in medical experiences and otherwise. I hope that the confusion you mentioned here is just temporary and it seems several other bloggers have offered some useful suggestions and advice as well.
Definitely agree with Boud and others --- make certain your doctor knows about your confusion. You may have a UTI, you might be a bit dehydrated if you've cut back on fluids.
Hope you've had a relaxing day, have a solid night of sleep tonight, and awaken tomorrow feeling rested and clear-headed.
You have a good reason to be confused. I hope that thins will be back to normal one of these days.
I would tend to drink less with a catheter (especially after the disconnections) so you could be a bit dehydrated. What a pain to have to deal with all these details when you're having a medical issue! I know you're very thankful for Sue.
Patience. This too will end.
Looking forward to this difficult passage to be in the rear view mirror. That is a strange selfie!
That selfie is a hoot! We're always concentrating on the photo.
That is what we do around here, just pass it over to the other person and do our best.
You just take it easy.
Obvious ... pale with fear because of your scowl.
Actually, I think this photo is very artistic. It shows emotion and I like the contrast.
