I am not sure that I ever cruised back then, but on this Saturday evening, Danica texted about going driving. You see, she has her permit and is eager to hit the roads. Both Mom and Dad were unavailable, so Buppa became the stand-in.
We had a good time toodling around town for probably less than an hour.
I love my Saturday night date.

Cruising on a Saturday night was definitely a thing when I was growing up. But I'm not sure it is a thing with this generation. Many of them don't even want to drive!
And yet, there was the photographer of the photographer and granddaughter! Who was in the back seat?

@Barbara: Sue was in the back for a very short while, basically long enough to get a picture.
Lovely! I remember my grandmother driving me somewhere and saying "Someday you'll be driving me." Sweet to see it happening.

It is like the old Saturday night when one would end up at the A&W and have the food delivered to a tray on the window. And then put $1 of gas in the car. You have brought back good memories for me.
That's very helpful of you and you don't look stressed at all! I was when my kids were learning to drive.
