While Sue was feeding the birds (yesterdays post), I was surprised to see very good reflections of the old Hawthorn Mill across the river. The river was running high after much winter melting, so I expected it to be turbulent. But it was calm.
That's it for today. Consider it a bit of a break from my usual, prosaic rambling.
Nice surprise after viewing the B&W version, to see the pop of reddish colors. I had no idea what to expect! Rabbit Rabbit! That's what people around here say on the first of everything. I think it's for good wishes, probably. And you are such a nice rambler every morning, I do enjoy reading wherever your thoughts take you!
Winner! Kudos for seeing it. I like the coloured one because of the variety of tones, but the monochrome is a winner too. Yeah, she is a source of pride, alright. Nice to think that people like my daughter and several of her friends are representing Canada abroad.

Boy, sometimes the water and the light just cooperate, don't they? Both versions are lovely.

Nicely done. I like them both!
This could be a jigsaw puzzle. Those reflections are very successful.
It's so beautiful - you live in such a lovely area.
You did a good job with this!
I love reflection photos. I accidentally got some at Reflection Lake at Mt. Rainier a few years ago. Magical.
Nice,. Nice prosaic rambling too.
I enjoy your rambles! Both outdoors and in your posts.
It's your blog!
It is nice when the water is still enough to get a good reflection and glad it cooperated for you, AC.
I always prefer colour.
Lovely rendition.
