Happycrows

I took an evening walk downtown om the weekend. There are scarecrows down there although many are actually happycrows. My thinking was that it would be better to photograph them in the dark. It worked only so-so because most weren't lit very well.

Last year, I photographed in daytime here, but here are some from this year. This post will concentrate on the happier crows.

Sadly, Halloween is close to the beginning of winter hereabouts. The snow plow contractor has put up his marker, and we have cleaned out our very narrow garage to accommodate our vehicle. It's a tight fit, let me tells yiz. Very few other people on the street bother and continue to use their garages for storage. We are fortunate that the former owner built shelves in the garage; otherwise, I don't think we could manage either.

How cute are some of those scarecrows. The village over from us are allowed to decorate their main street, so it's fun to drive over & have a viewing. I am thankful we can still get our car into the garage - it's easier to hide that we are home (lol).

Cute little guys...and I'm thrilled to hear of a garage used for a vehicle! Congrats!

Cute crows! I don't see them here in Hawaii, but we have our share of skeletons on the front yards of our neighborhood.

When I drove by the works yard yesterday I noticed the big trucks all spiffed up with their plows on. They are all lined up out front, ready to roll.

Love the scarecrows! I'm a fan of fall decorations. Snow planning already? Hope that you'll have an easy winter.

I do love those happycrows. They put a smile on my face, and that's worth a lot! :-)

I couldn't live without a garage. I just don't have the time and energy it would take to ready the car for driving condition in winter time. I.e. clean off all the snow and ice all the time.

Nice pictures of Halloween! I am not much in to scary decorations, but all ready to treat the kids!

Never heard the name happy crows before. We hope to get our car in the barn for winter even if the barn whisperer doesn't return to put on doors. Dan put markers along the driveway in preparation for the snowplowing contractor we've engaged.
