Sue had another park meetup with the gals, so I headed across the river once again. I didn't catch any nice reflections this time.
There is much similarity in these three photos of leaves near trees and branches.
Speaking of autumn colour, the Celtic Colours Festival is beginning in Cape Breton. This beautiful piece was from the opening night of the pre-festival concerts if I understand correctly. I hope you enjoy it. Attending that festival would be quite wonderful.
What lovely flute music, and I've never heard a violin which sounds like a bagpipe droning! I loved the leaves up close and personal!
ReplyDeleteThe music is lovely. Great photos of the leaves too. Artistically captured, AC.
ReplyDeleteNice! I will listen to the music later, when hubby isn't trying to sleep next to me. :-)
ReplyDeleteVirginia Creeper is so photogenic this time of year. I have a big vine of it around my diningroom window that is getting pretty red. Some folks hate it, but I'm not in that camp.
ReplyDeleteI love that third leaves photo. The dark background makes them pop. I miss going to an occasional live music show. I will give this a listen in spite of the cat's hatred of music coming out of my laptop. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely atmospheric shots of the leaves. Soon the trees will be bare.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you are right, that the colours aren't near what they are usually.
ReplyDeleteThe fall colours have seemed slow thus far.
ReplyDeleteYou really were searching for color.
ReplyDeleteLovely lament - for summer gone, perhaps? We don't have much colour here either. A few of the red maples are pied, but no strong reds by themselves.
ReplyDeleteLove your Cuppa and friends shot.
Love the fall leaves! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your colors and your music. That was lovely.
