2020

It is here: a new decade when there will be huge changes with the grandkids as they grow into adulthood near the end of the decade. It could also mark big changes for us older people, but one prefers not to dwell on that, so I am wishing you both a Happy New Year and Decade.

There were fireworks in the adjacent township last evening, but in the end, I decided to pass. To get there in time to get a good spot, set up, wait for the show, and then take the pictures would have taken hours. I didn't feel like taking those hours outdoors in winter and I especially didn't feel right about leaving Sue on her own on New Years Eve. So, this photo is from the Canada Day Fireworks back on June 30.

John, we send the same best 2020 wishes from us to you and Sue. And being outdoors on a winter night isn't anything I would enjoy either.

Good for you for staying in. It's such a mess out there.

All the very best for 2020. I hope the coming decade will be good to you despite your advancing age! So many of my friends have had joint replacements over the past few years and it keeps them active in ways that could never have been imagined years ago.

I was at YoungerSon's "new" house. Only one TV channel at the moment so we watched a DVD of Spiderman instead. Then we all went to bed and woke up in a new decade. Only the 10 year old claimed to have stayed awake until past midnight. Happy New Year!!!!!!!
