JJ Delivers the Goods

I prefer to do my own grocery shopping, but JJ's first job has him delivering ordered groceries to cars. People order online via an app, and someone delivers the groceries to the car. This practice really took off  in the days of  C19 when many of us lived in a kind of an isolation. I used pickup a lot then but seldom now. However, I JJ seemed keen to deliver an order to us, and of course it pleased me too, so I put an order in..

Keeping posting light and just newsy for now, I will report that physio, yesterday, consisted of acupuncture. I was surprised when the therapist asked if I would like to try it. Well, why not, eh. It was a first for me, and since my pain and discomfort are variable, I cannot yet say if it helped or how much.

It does seem like only yesterday that you were posting toddler photos of this young man. It is the same with our grandson, Bobby, who will celebrate his 17th birthday next month. He also has his first job coincidentally at a grocery store.

I am seeing a move back to grocery pickups. It's a great service & I certainly appreciate those that take on this role of car delivery. I don't envy them in the rainy or snowy weather. Thumbs up JJ.

I am thinking that grocery delivery is like a paper route of yesteryear. A great job for a young lad!

JJ looks so happy and official! I hope the acupuncture works well, and I'm impressed it's on offer. Let us know how it goes.

Good for JJ and I hope you tipped generously. Acupuncture did not work for me but it is definitely worth a try as some people do well with it.
Hang in there!!!
I will be light and newsy someday soon.

I wish you much success with acupuncture... I also had it for 10 sessions and it helped me.
A warm greeting to you from Viola

I still do pick up and love it! I can also avoid impulse buys because of that. :) Hope the acupuncture helps with your shoulder. I would try nearly anything to get the pain to disappear.

I'll be curious to hear about the acupuncture! Keep us posted. And JJ is a great kid!

I mostly shop, but there are days when I order via computer and pick it up. There have been a few mistakes and a few substitutions, but I am generally happy not to have the hassle of wandering around the store. JJ is a really nice-looking young man. Lucky you!

I love that you ordered groceries just because he wanted to bring them to you. I'll be very interested to hear your thoughts on the effectiveness of acupuncture.

I have no car, and the grocery store is a few blocks away, so I buy what I need as I go.

That is so cute! What fun to have your grandson load your car for you.
I know a number of people who swear by acupuncture. I hope it helps you too.

Acupuncture! Interesting! I prayed for your arm today and I also prayed that my prayer would be answered. Now, I am intrigued by JJ putting the green plastic bins into your car. Does everybody have those, or do you return them next time you go, or what? xoxo
