I don’t understand carts abandoned anywhere either but this one boggles the mind. Here or in Newfoundland, the wind might blow it out or the corral though.
Yes, the shopping carts are haphazardly strewn here as well. People must think they are self returning it seems. The less said about politics right now, the better, is my opinion although certainly it’s not shared by many, including the politicians.
Mindboggling indeed. It is one of my many bees in the bonnet, non-returned trolleys! I have stopped trying to understand what is happening in the US, it is beyond my comprehension.
Yes, I agree about American shopping carts...and I've never seen a roof over a cart corral either. What a luxury. I've heard some Americans are looking to have "support-Canadians" to get through the next while. Any of you are welcome to give emotional support...no funding needed! I personally am only a little crazy.
My younger daughter's first job was as a courtesy clerk at a local grocery store and one of her jobs was to fetch the carts. This kind of idiocy happened frequently and it drove her absolutely crazy. As for anything Americana, this country is breaking my heart right now.
It really aggravates me when people can't be bothered to do the decent thing and think about others. We are totally devastated to think about the state of our country. I just don't understand this. We are so totally divided. I wonder if this is how Nazism started. Misinformation, excusing bad behavior for the sake of economy, cult worship. I just don't know.
I'm shocked to learn at least some Canadians are as lazy as Americans. Down here, leaving carts willy nilly is a phenomenon. It is especially crazy when they do it on sloped parking lots so run-a-way carts crash into cars parked further down the hill. When I visit those places, I park well to the side of the hill even if it means I have to walk twice as far as everyone else to enter the store.
Cart abandonment and throwing trash out of car windows. I have found piles of trash in parking lots that people just dumped, and that with a trash receptacle close by. You wonder what their houses look like, people who are that much of a slob.

ReplyDeleteSome people have no sense, I guess. I saw it immediately.
ReplyDeleteThe photo is america in a nutshell (so to speak).
ReplyDeleteBelieve me, I am as mind-boggled by our politics as you are. Like the shopping cart--hard to understand the mindset of someone who acts this way.

ReplyDeleteUtter laziness.

ReplyDeleteBut not that uncommon.

ReplyDeleteI am baffled, too. And deeply concerned about almost half our population. They are likely the ones who won't put a cart away. :(
