Foggy Morning

Was it foggy or not? It was hard to tell by looking out the window. I decided that it was foggy, but was it enough of a fog to get me out with the camera early on a chilly morning when there was still frost on the car?

With some reluctance, I decided to do it, and it was a good thing.

I went to the park, and the fog across the river was very very nice.

Here is the proof.

I think the second photo, above, is my fave, and I am almost sure to print it.

When it was time to go, the fog was lifting, at least away form the river, but the morning light was hitting this maple tree quite nicely.

It was a fine morning. I am so glad that I made myself get out there.

Oh, yes, sometimes we really have to push a little harder to get us out.
The new Penny book. After reading your comment, I paid more attention to what I was doing while I was reading. The middle was awfully dead, and I was constantly putting the volume down. Often I didn't want to read more. Then finally I neared the end, and the book picked up. I had to force myself to push through to the end. I was thinking that the death of her husband and the much beloved dog were reflected here.

I've always loved fog. I guess it must be the mystery of it. I've never been able to get a good photo of it though. Your photo is absolutely gorgeous!

Sometimes you just have to get outside and deal with whatever Mother Nature dishes up. Your pictures validate this outlook on life.
