Heliopsis Helianthoides

I found these Heliopsis Helianthoides aka False Sunflower photos languishing in my Blogger photo folder; they have been lying in wait, forlornly, for almost a month. They (the flowers, not the photos) were in a neighbour's yard beside the community mailboxes and were still blooming when last I noticed a few days ago. I seem to remember that false sunflowers are long-bloomers from when we grew them in a former garden.

Happy Monday

Lovely flowers & I understand they also last a long time as cut flowers. Would your neighbour miss a few gone missing (lol)?

They are very summery! (I'm at my fav. coffee house this morning to get wi-fi!)

Sunflowers to cheer you up. I am glad that they last long enough to give people joy and happiness. I love flowers and always have them on my dining table.

The top shot is really hazy for me.

They look like daisies, but I'm notoriously bad at identifying flowers. :)
