A few days after Danica's sleepover, it was Jonathan's turn to experience the sheer rapture and joy of overnighting with his grandparents. lol
We play games with JJ -- Uno and Sorry this time.
He was eager to help Amma with meal prep: mashed potatoes one night and egg salad for sandwiches the next.
Helping me with the eggs for Buppa McMuffins in the morning: adding shredded cheese in the photo.
He crafted Wolverine claws all on his own.
Looks like it was a fun sleepover event once again and nice to see both grands were able to share time with you and Sue. Also, liked JJ’s new hair look while Sue’s has really grown long!
ReplyDeleteI remember those curls he used to have way back when and now there is a young man in the photos. Not even a boy, but a young man! Good to see he still likes to come over and spend time with the grands though.
ReplyDeletePlus I think I am in love with Sue's craft room! No, I know I am!!
It's wonderful having a relationship with grandies.
ReplyDeleteI loved the video. I think you are too close, though. It seemed pretty easy!
We play UNO and SORRY, too!
Lol. Priceless. Great memories. And JJ will say, “Boobies, like my grandfather used to say.”
ReplyDeleteI like his new haircut. And I see a resemblance to both you and Sue.
ReplyDeleteHe's really adorable. Don't tell him I said so, but that picture of him using his wolverine claws to give you a head massage gave me quite a smile. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun games with the new look on JJ. Your sock-basket game and the new quotable phrase is a hoot!
ReplyDeleteNever heard of sock basket though I have done plenty of all the other activities mentioned.
ReplyDeleteYour grandson looks more mature with his new haircut, which I like a lot. Glad you had such a nice visit. As for your upcoming surgery, good luck. David had total knee replacement surgeries on both knees in 2015 and 2016 and they were a huge success. Less pain now and more flexibility.
ReplyDeleteYour MiniMe is adorable. I'm impressed by Sue's craft room!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun times with JJ! (a variety of wonderful activities) Did your dad really say that or were you making it up? ;)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun visit.
ReplyDeleteThis is so wonderful! Oh gosh! He’s growing up too. What a special time for both grandchildren it was.
ReplyDeleteSuch fun! Love his new haircut.
ReplyDeleteYes, there was a time they weren't called boobies--LOL! You were called a boob when you screwed up on something or another. Your dad had a cute twist on it. Love that! :)
The photo With Sue and the box - he really looks like you.
ReplyDeletethe giggle is worth bottling and selling.
