We've been a little busy lately, so here is a quick pic that you might find amusing. Sue couldn't resist taking it as we watched tv.
The thing on my head is a device that streams Bluetooth audio to my hearing aids. The cord hanging over the back of my head usually suspends the streamer from my neck. But sometimes, the connection is so weak that I have to get it a little closer to the hearing aids.
Such is life with a deficiency, and I have many of those.
You do what you have to do ... & if it works, bonus.
ReplyDeleteI have one of those and have never had the courage to try to figure out how to use it. You have adapted to the twenty-first century far better than I have.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of such a thing, but if it works, YAY for technology--no matter where you have to put it. :)
ReplyDeleteNo you don't.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sue...it shows the ingenuity of your husband!
ReplyDeleteNow you just need a beanie with a pocket on top! Bet you can hear aliens too.
ReplyDelete(I can make obnoxious suggestions cuz I have a hearing aid and a cochlear implant into my skull.) Linda in Kansas
I love new technology. Too bad they don't have a better method for you to use them!!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many new technologies. How lucky we are to live in such a time that our deficiencies can be helped.
ReplyDeleteHey--that's a nifty device. Anything that helps us folk with deficiencies is great in my book. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt takes a lot of adapting if you live a life with deficiencies!
ReplyDeleteThat's new to me.
ReplyDeleteIf it works, use it.
ReplyDeleteAhhh… so you ARE good at balancing things on your head. Art uses headphones because he has a hard time hearing too.
ReplyDeleteYou are wired for sound, AC.
