Superfluous Signs

I come across images or posts on social media that I sometimes save, but then I forget to use them. I just discovered a few that I had saved. They are not really funny but more of a head-scratcher, kind of like a bottle of pills that advise you to take them by mouth.

As far as I know, they are real and not contrived via photo manipulation, but who knows for sure?

I have also saved more serious items and may post those in the near future.

Addendum: Oh, I just saw this one. Thanks. I needed that clarification.

They don't stop. Here's another.

Makes you wonder who needs to be told these things doesn’t it? It’s why I have such fun looking for oddities for my Friday Funnies because, after all, all are in plain sight most of the time.

Someone is authority is related to a sign maker and gives him the business. I am always suspicious of such things.

Fear of litigation may be responsible for these. But swallowing coathangers?

What fun. I always think, but what about people who can't read? Either because they are just 4 years old, or never bothered to learn, being busy living their lives...

I laughed out loud at a couple of these. Thanks for the morning grins!

I always wonder whether these signs are motivated by insurance requirements. Due diligence seems to be the catchword of the day!

Lawyers and litigation. And no shortage of really stupid people.

Good examples of CYA signs!

All rather obvious I'd say. Does make me wonder about the folks who installed the signs.

Just crazy that we would need those signs...but funny, nonetheless. :)

Incredible.

The "do not use " is funny. I guess it shows that I lived a major part of my life with middle school kids.

Once I had a tee-shirt that suggested you take it off before laundering.
