I had to stop and grab this image. For me, it is Tylenol for arthritis, I have some upstairs to take before bed and some downstairs to take with breakfast.
At most I got five hours last night. Recently, I had two awake hours in the middle of the night.
Maybe I should purchase this shirt; it's pretty accurate.
Life is interesting.

Don't know how you remain 'human' with so little sleep. Kudos to you! I need at least 8, and am pretty grumpy without that. The T in the last picture though, I definitely can relate to that!
I have also been having issues staying asleep. Fortunately I have been getting at least seven hours, not much for me, but better than five!
Ah the aches and pains we all deal with. Tylenol helps when I have pains and I get to sleep better then. Sorry you are still one of the most awoke persons around. Not woke, but maybe also.
Sad post today. Too bad you're feeling down.
I use melatonin for sleep. It works for me. Celebrex, Gabapentin and Tylenol are my pain relievers. I have a single story house so they are all in the kitchen cabinet. I could also use that Tshirt
I can't imagine sleeping all night, it's been so long. And I love the ibuprophin and t-shirt. That shirt is the best.
I know that I would be useless with so little sleep. That alone makes you remarkable.
I think what irks me the most is that I no matter how much sleep I get, I wake up exhausted. I don't understand why.
All the aches and pains that go with aging. And with changes in the weather.
I need more sleep than that but 6 or 7 hours is okay.
Aging sucks!
Love that first quote! My wife seems to have more aches and pains that I do, but I'm sure my time is coming.
Wishing you well friend! Aloha
When people say that "they sleep like a baby," that's not a positive. I remember the 2 hours awake at night with an infant; it was a dreary time.
I am assuming much of your discomfort is perhaps due to needing to insert tubulature where your body would rather it not be. I am sorry that has been an ongoing struggle. Do you have a set date for the new procedure (I may have missed that)?
For me, I have upstairs and downstairs (prescription) reading glasses. I also have (prescription) reading glasses in my U office and in my bass clarinet case. I have never been friendly with actual bifocals (I do have a pair of those too) and CANNOT adjust at all to “progressives”….they make me have motion sickness.

Like you, I don't sleep well. On a good night, I get 5-6 hours, of sleep, divided into segments...an hour or two at a time. Been going on for a long time.
At 78, I don't expect it to change, so I don't have expectations of a good night sleep before the long, long one.
I hope your medical problems do have some resolution, you have my sympathies.
Cheers,
Mike
I am starting to get aches and pains in my back and neck. Visiting Thai massage monthly now
Key word here is quality of life . Sometimes there's limited quality on some days.
Fortunately, my apartment is on one floor. I take two ibuprofen before bedtime and generally get seven or so hours of decent sleep.
Oh, yes. I too have morning and evening Tylenol (1) plus Ibuprofen (2). If I forget to take the morning dose, I can hardly move.
Yes, life is interesting.
Keep your head up and through.
Warm greetings to you.
Life is interesting. It'd be bad to be bored. We live in a bungalow, so this doesn't apply to us!
Yeah, feelin' it! I take Meloxicam for arthritis pain, just one does me all day. Amazing stuff suggested by my pharmacist daughter-in-law.
