First Ride

I've not much to say today, but I will post a couple of family pics. Although Danica has been driving her car for awhile, neither Sue nor I had the privilege of experiencing a ride, I still haven't, but Danica took her into the city on the weekend. The mission was to go to the Apple Store to get her faulty ear buds checked.

Shauna was running other errands but joined them at the mall.

Sue was aghast that those ↑ coffees and cookies cost more that $30.

I'll throw in a selfie of Sue and me on a walk. It was for Sue's potd, with the theme being affection, or something close to that. Of course, being closer to the camera, I look gigantic.

Well, you might have a big head, but actually it makes Sue look petite! Great family photos, and aren't those prices for a break of drink and cookies awful!

Yes, prices are high even though inflation under control. Prices won't be coming back down either, We just have to get used to them because we are now paying people more of a living wage to serve our coffee and make our lunches.

Affection beautifully captured! And I'm with Sue on the prices of drinks and sweets in coffee shops. I just don't get it. I buy the same flour and sugar they do (probably for more as not in bulk) and I could make and sell them for far less (and be happy about it!)

I've learned not to be in the foreground of any pictures. My very tall brother did once and he looked like Buddha. Sbux is expensive and I only go there for coffee dates/special occasions. I do love their mochas, almost as good as the ones I make at home!

Your whole family is very photogenic!

I like the affection photo. In all the photos Sue shows she is photogenic. The cost of everything is too high. Profits a booming, though.

I still remember when my grandmother said to me, one day when she was taking me somewhere, "Someday you'll be driving me around." And I did.

The cost of a coffee these days is ridiculous. I’m with Sue.

Yes, everything is more costly these days, but the. That was always true for Starbucks even before. Our choice has always been Dunkin Donuts here in the U.S. Time has gone by fast and we recall when Danica was using a bike😀

Everybody is so cute. You just need longer arms, eh? Linda in Kansas

I remember first rides. Both my daughters are excellent drivers, and I'm sure Danica is, too.

Getting the driver's license is an important event.

That last picture is beautiful. You should frame it and hand it out as a Christmas gifts for your children and grands.
