Caturday 20: Tunashamed

Design is important. I know what this image is meant to say, but the somewhat sacrilegious internet sees it as Tunashamed. In fact, it has become a widespread meme.

Since Lacey loves her tuna above almost all else, I couldn't resist pasting her into the original photo.

It is like she is covering her head in shame for being so addicted to tuna, of which she insists on being served three or four small portions per day.

THere needs to be one for "shameful cat owners who feed cats tuna 3-4 times a day!" Yes, I do know of one other cat that was so spoiled. He went to college with my son, and probably never ate his dry food, because the students would sneak tuna salad off the buffet line and feed him. He was the biggest cat I've ever seen...since he started eating it when he was still a kitten.

I've not seen that meme, but I sure do wonder why nobody thought of the ramifications as they were designing it. :-)

The course I took at Algonquin College in Advertising had a whole class devoted to teaching us not to do that kind of thing. It is easier than you think, proof read as you will. My favourite is an error an aunt of mine made when she first switched from typewriter to word processor. She worked for the Carleton Board of Education, and labelled a meeting 'Committee of the Whore.'

That is a gorgeous cat and equally fine photo of same.

That's kind of funny. I didn't realize that it referred to Christ with the cross.

That is rather clever. You have a dry wit!

It took me far too long to figure out what this is supposed to mean! Oh, dear.

That's an Ohio plate on that car. Was Lacey coming to see us, or just passing through?

An addict is an addict, I guess. :)

They certainly could have made that sticker a bit better! Mind you, they are all talking about it now, so perhaps that was his goal in the first place?

The real star however must be Lacey, and no need to be ashamed. Tuna addiction or not!

Lacey is obviously not one affected by the wording on the window.

I vastly prefer having Lacey in the mix!
