Of Pens and Garages and SayWhatItNess

Say what? Well, perhaps I could have been clearer.

No, we do not keep pens in the garage, but the pens in question did come from the garage (tire store) where we have our tires changed.

And no, it isn't Canadian Tire.

And yes, they are superb pens.

However, many sincere thanks for the excuse to post when I had nothing else to post about today.

And also for the opportunity to post these selfies, which I have taken this week because I don't know quite what else to do with my camera in winter.

Setting up the camera on a tripod, getting yourself in the frame, and then clicking remotely, is quite an interesting procedure, let me tell you.

So, I have good reason to look perplexed.

Which is, apparently, what some of you felt when reading my previous post.

It's comforting to see you being silly and thoroughly enjoying it. I thought I was the only one who did that. Great pictures.

I always keep a pen in the garage. I can never find it, but it is there somewhere...

Quite the character study. My friend was a whiz with the timer on the remote of her point and shoot. She was determined to be in pictures, in response to the age old question, where were you?

These are really good shot! Well done.
You would be most welcome to traipse around our wetland in search of photos! Sue could have a cuppa tea in the house! :-)

This reminds me of the selfies my husband used to take of us in the days before smart phones, using a normal camera on a tripod with a remote control to squeeze. They were some of the funniest photos of us: often we would be caught in the middle of my saying, "Is the timer working?" or my husband would be sort of setting his jaw unconsciously while he squeezed the bulb.

These are great photos.

This will do quite nicely.

Those selfies are cool. If it was me though I'd be dissatisfied with just one of them....every time... said...
