Can You Teach New Dogs Old Tricks

Fun is made of seniors trying to cope with new technology. In point of fact, most of us mange fairly well for the most part. True, I sometimes need a bit of help with smart phones and their associated devices, but I get most of it most of the time.

But how about kids with dealing with old technology? Well then, maybe the shoes are on the other feet in that case.

In the video, two boys are given 4 minutes to dial a number on a rotary phone. They don't quite make it.

Enjoy.

  1. So at the end of the world, when they find a bank of pay phones, will they know to put in a dime (? quarter) and listen for dial tone. And how about picking up the receiver and putting it to ear. OMG. Great video.

  6. I saw this on facebook and it made it clear to me that technology moves so much faster is not fair to the elderly who do not get training at work anymore.

  7. Hilarious!
When my sons were young we had a dial wall phone in the kitchen, and any kids who came to play had to call their parents to say where they were. Nobody knew how to use it and they all had to have help with the dial.

  9. That is funny! I recall teaching, sending a kid to the office to phone home, and the secretary had to teach him how to use the rotary phone! That was, I think, 2000-ish!!!!

  10. Teaching new tricks to a dog is not a daunting task but teaching should be in a proper manner and use different communication skills to interact with and teach them good dog behavior and you can use different commands to communicate them as it will be easy for them to understand your way of communication skills.
