I made a post of the same title back in February in which I posted a few iPhone shots. But I have wanted to get back there with my real camera and take my time over a few photos when there was no one else about. It's not that the photos will necessarily look any better, especially on here, but it felt right to take my time and do more than just a quick snap. With the exhibit about to close, I took a few moments one recent morning.
Here is the main setting from various angles. A few have alternative monochrome versions with an attempt at an antique sort of look. Should I have favourites, I think they would be the last two pairs. Just don't ask whether in mono or colour because I don't know.
Thank heavens I live in the modern world, I wouldn't want to wear all that underwear. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteLove both. Great photos either way. I wouldn’t want to wear that stuff either.
ReplyDeleteLife was needlessly complex, once upon a time. It still is.
ReplyDeleteAll I can think of is the time it takes to do up those boots, or the buttons, etc.
ReplyDeleteI do like the monochrome treatment best. Good work.
Nicely done , I do prefer the image in the vintage look of the photo it seems to fit the subjects better . Thanks for sharing , have a good weekend !
ReplyDeletePeople had to put much more effort into dressing and into taking care of clothes, but I guess they did not change so often!
ReplyDeleteThank giodness for Fruit of the Loom and Hanes garments these days as I too cannot imagine the effort rewuired to put on and remove these garments. I liked the various treatments and angles and vintage was my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI like the sepia toned cami with peticoat best. :)
