Me Shovelling and Talking to You

We had a late snow storm on Saturday night, so I went out to shovel on Sunday morning. Being a strange sort of fellow, I decided to record myself shovelling while occasionally stopping to talk to you, or at least to the camera. I guess this sort of thing is called a vlog.

I was pretty much just in the nick of time for clearing the snow because we were soon getting ice.

It's still that way (although thicker, so it's almost totally opaque) this morning and school buses aren't running, but the storm could have been worse, and it looks like main streets are navigable. The power didn't go out, and we spent much of the day rewatching Scott & Bailey on Netflix, which was quite a pleasant way to pass the time.

That was a great video you did , Sorry you got dumped on with more snow we got freezing rain then a little bit of snow then rain and it has been raining since Saturday things are beginning to flood out in this area we have had soo much rain. I am soo looking forward to sunshine hopefully soon . Taxes YIKES ! We have an accountant that does ours and hubs parents taxes . We used to do our own but the accountant can get around stuff better then we can and we get our money back faster through him then when we did it on our own , it doesn't cost us much to get him to do it and it is less stressful at tax time ever year now lol .Thanks for sharing , have a good day

  4. Nice shovelling video! I've been stuck indoors the whole weekend.... snow, rain, freezing rain, ice pellets, wind, more rain, you name it, we have had it. I actually buckled down and did my taxes on Saturday, sadly had to pay a large amount because of RRIF payments starting...... oh well, it has to be done. Still raining here.

  5. And we had pouring, pounding rain yesterday, climaxed by a tornado.

  6. So sorry. I bet you are sick of the snow! We got two days of 80F and then yesterday coolish winds and temps in the low 60s. Brutal changes.

  8. We also had a miserable Monday, but thankfully only a dusting of overnight snow that was washed away by an all day drenching rain. I enjoyed your self video as well.

  9. Very droll!
I didn't do the driveway. It's 100m long, and the blower is put away. Whoops.
It is melting nicely, though. (And my taxes are done!)
