While we didn't manage to get out for an autumn drive yesterday (maybe today!), we did go for a walk in the park. It was a sunny day, and the colours were pretty darn ... uh ... pretty. The final two photos were my favs of the day.
The first thing that we saw when we exited the car. I find the two colours appealing. |
This tree still had a lot of leaves. |
Taking a picture of Sue taking a picture of a picturesque scene. |
Trees lining the walking path, at least on one side. |
Pretty nice backlight on this section of the tree. I was trying to highlight the lighted section. |
I like being able to see the bones of the tree within the colours. |
That bending tree in the first photo was interesting, worthy of a solo shot. Beautiful colors.
ReplyDeleteOne day we need a picture of AC taking a picture of sue taking a picture, etc. Some obliging passer by might be recruited.
ReplyDeleteI cannot tell what kind of trees are featured in your first two pictures. Oaks or maples? My guess is one of those two. Whichever they are, they sure are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWith our frosts, another one today, the leaves are falling! You had a beautiful day there.
ReplyDeleteI am with you on seeing the bones of the trees. My favorite way to see the leaves is when they are backlit.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! These are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I also find the bending tree interesting.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you but also love the photo of Sue. Autumn's golden colors and diffused light are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYou captured light and color perfectly.
ReplyDeleteYou have more colour change than we do. Lovely to see.
ReplyDeleteAwesome fall photos. Brilliant colors.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I love all the golden color!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for doing the leg work and camera pointing and editing, and posting. Lots of labor and it's much appreciated. I'm feeling very grateful the internet is working again, now, for as long as it may last. Spectrum just sent a text apologizing for all their technicians and executives also being hit by the hurricane. I'd already decided to pay my full bill just to cover the expenses of linemen being out there repairing the damages, rather than ask for a refund due to the outage. I can look at you photos and feel serene again and forget about all the silly people who make this connection possible.
ReplyDeleteI think the one of Sue is my favorite, AC.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely time to take photos.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful golden ambre autumn leaves
ReplyDeleteGreat colors.
ReplyDeleteGlorious, blazing colours - just perfect on a sunny day.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! A beautiful place for a walk!
ReplyDeleteI think it great you two share this passion for photography.
ReplyDeleteI like the third last as well.
ReplyDeleteThe light in the changing colors of those trees is so poignant and innocent! xoxo
