I have mentioned how Sue is taking some gentle exercise classes at the nearby seniors residence. Once again, I drove up with her on Monday morning with the intention of walking back home while she participated in the class. But I thought, "Why not show the place?" So I took out the iPhone.
Her friend's door is right off the visitor section of the parking lot.
Around the front.
It had rained overnight, so I avoided the trail and walked the streets, but I did dip into the park and saw no watery paths. I did see geese beyond the pond, however, but they are pretty distant and small in this photo.
Thanks for a tour of the grounds. Looks like it is kept up very well...grounds crews at work! Glad you got home before it got hot!
ReplyDeleteThe senior residence looks like a well kept place. Staying indoors this week in New England as well since our temps in in the 90-100 until at least the end of the week, when rain is expected.
ReplyDeleteI like those houses. Nice spot.
ReplyDelete'scrubland with deadfall!' 😂
This is a well maintained property. It doesn't look like a depressing senior living complex. The pond is a beauty.
ReplyDeleteEverything is still so wonderfully green after all the rain we have been having. The seniors' residence looks quite nice.
ReplyDeleteNice place. I am envious of the rain!
ReplyDeleteA good walk gives you some good photos.
ReplyDeleteIt IS going to be a hot week, and I'm glad that you're being sensible.
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely and not hot at all. :) That's what's weird about pictures sometimes; you can't see the evidence of the heat like you can the cold.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, looks like the building I live in! Must be something about the "senior" business.
ReplyDeleteThe neighborhood looks quite lovely. The latest research is all opting for resistance exercises now. It is what I am trying to do despite exhausting efforts
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice area! I love the grounds.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful area!
ReplyDeleteLovely to have the two bunnies visiting the homes - beautiful location. Too hot for anything other than reading & naps, well that's what Mr Man tells me. (lol).
ReplyDeleteNice little park and a pretty pond.
ReplyDeleteBet Sue is not walking today!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely area. And it looks like nice grounds for a walk, too.
ReplyDeleteWow that is a beautiful place! The grounds are lovely too. I was up at dawn again today, for my walk. I'm getting used to it. xoxo
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely morning and such a nice sunny place! Thank you for sharing it with us. Yes, I'm extra cautious after the rain. I don't want to slip and fall. Thank you so much for your companionable visits and this nice post. Aloha!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like such a nice place to walk, well maintained.
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a beautiful senior residence. It would cost a fortune here.
ReplyDeleteNice description. Nice place. I hear you about maintained paths. I have a fine new walker to get me places that are not maintained. Report follows.
ReplyDeleteWe are now one week on and very, very wet.
