The Residence and the Walk

I have mentioned how Sue is taking some gentle exercise classes at the nearby seniors residence. Once again, I drove up with her on Monday morning with the intention of walking back home while she participated in the class. But I thought, "Why not show the place?" So I took out the iPhone.

Her friend's door is right off the visitor section of the parking lot.

To the right just before you get to the door there is a nice park-like space to the right. It's how I wish our trail was kept. Well, maybe not that pristine but something more than scrubland with deadfall. Anyway, it is a nice spot,

Around the front.

It had rained overnight, so I avoided the trail and walked the streets, but I did dip into the park and saw no watery paths. I did see geese beyond the pond, however, but they are pretty distant and small in this photo.

Then, I saw two rabbits near the houses that back onto the park.

I was home before the heat really kicked in, but that was Monday, and it is going to be a hot week.

  2. The senior residence looks like a well kept place. Staying indoors this week in New England as well since our temps in in the 90-100 until at least the end of the week, when rain is expected.

  4. This is a well maintained property. It doesn't look like a depressing senior living complex. The pond is a beauty.

  9. It looks lovely and not hot at all. :) That's what's weird about pictures sometimes; you can't see the evidence of the heat like you can the cold.

  11. The neighborhood looks quite lovely. The latest research is all opting for resistance exercises now. It is what I am trying to do despite exhausting efforts

  14. Lovely to have the two bunnies visiting the homes - beautiful location. Too hot for anything other than reading & naps, well that's what Mr Man tells me. (lol).

  22. Nice description. Nice place. I hear you about maintained paths. I have a fine new walker to get me places that are not maintained. Report follows.
We are now one week on and very, very wet.
