Final Bursts for this Year

If you will indulge me, I am going to post three more fireworks photos before I go sit in the corner and mumble softly yo myself.

For something to occupy my enfeebled brain as the heat continues unabated, I put together three more composites yesterday: a composite being the superimposition of at least one photo upon another. But the one that I posted yesterday still remains my favourite. Some combinations work better than others.

And this one from last year that I posted a few days ago, is getting a lot of notice on Flickr.

But here are the three that I composited yesterday.

I promise that this is it for fireworks for awhile. Meanwhile, some of you may see your own fireworks on The Fourth. Enjoy and have a great day in general.

The three gold bursts with the silver centres is masterly, as of course the others are also, but I love that one. Composition appeals. Colour appeals. And the technique and discipline required is just ... wow.

Personally, I would follow, avidly, a blogger who ONLY posted fireworks photographs. :)

beautiful photos. I most certainly would rather look at your firework photos that listen to the hundreds of dollars being "burned up" right now in my own neighborhood celebrating the 4th of July. They are loud and upsetting not only me, but the dogs in the neighborhood. Every year I think, "there oughta be a law," but if there is, our city police seem to turn a "deaf" ear.
Oh well, I think I will remove my hearing aid and go to bed!!
Could this be a sign I'm getting cranky in my old age??

We also watched firework displays last evening, but ny photo attempts were nowhere as good as yours, still it was fun trying.

Nicely done. We've had fireworks all week, here.

We usually enjoy our local towns fireworks from our front yard about a mile away. Unfortunately this years the British redcoats...oops I mean the mosquitoes forced us to retreat as they viciously attacked us...:(

John, I really enjoyed seeing this series of fireworks posts, which were quite spectacular especially since done from your bedroom view. The ones I tried this week couldn't measure up. I added a link to your blog so other bloggers could see your results.
