Day Seven

The visit today was even shorter, just long enough for Grandma to put Nikki Dee down and for us to get a couple of pictures of Zach. He's no nudist and gets a trifle upset when it's time to have his diaper changed, which had just happened (above). I've never encountered that before. Each one is different, eh.

We continue to see a red tinge in his hair. I think it was Ruth of Body Soul and Spirit who was wondering if there might be some Celtic genes present. Just today, I learned that SIL's grandfather might be Scottish, so that's a possibility (might because his mother was adopted and there is conflicting and/or incomplete information). I have some Irish in my tree too, but couldn't picture red hair until I remembered my mother's cousin. Not only does she have red hair, but she and mom also looked very similar, which is odd because they weren't really that closely related: more like their grandfathers were brothers.

  2. AC,

Beautiful! I do hope his hair is red. I hated mine when I was a kid but after I was in my 20s, I loved it.

Lovin' all the photos of Zach.

  7. Both of mine absolutely hated getting their diapers changed and their clothes changed. They got over it after a few weeks. Then at about age 2 they both turned into little nudists.

I turn my back for a minute and look what I've missed! Zach is truly handsome! He looks more content on the last pic... all clothed and happy. :o)
