Three Snow Pics from the Weekend

On a cold day after the snowstorm, I was able to take a few photos. In each case, I was at a distance with at least a snowbank between me and the subject. Thank goodness for zoom lenses. The first two were from Riverside Park, and the last from St James Park on the other side of the river. My preferred photo is the first one.

Snow is pretty enough, but man-a-livin, it was cold out there.

Oh . . . let's make it 4. This is from the same park as above.

Great photos. It looks so cold! The things we do for a photo…

Our snow is gone again! Yay!

Thanks for sharing your snow. That may be as much as I'll see this year. Like that last shot of the evergreen as well as a bare branched tree...nice combo.

We have still had no snow. I'm happy to look at your snow pictures instead.

It does look cold. I am still basking in our warm days. :-)

Lovely photos. Good job.

The first one is definitely my favorite too. It's at just the right distance from the tree.

Very white! Love the first photo of the tree.

I agree with you. I like the 1st one best too.

Wish we had snow like that here.

What a wonderful snow scenery you captured!

P.S. I took 200 shots to test different sorts of sun glare effect on the lens 14mm f1.8; long exposure timing for the type of foreground waterflow I like especially without a graduated ND filter

These are some nice snow scenes and I too prefer the first one. Sure hope you didn’t stay out too long and enjoyed some warm beverage afterwards, AC. Winter photo shoots are fun, but darn cold.
