To continue my photos from the weird but magical morning that I posted about here yesterday, I drove around another corner toward the little back bridge. That's an old factory on the left.
Behind the building in the first photo (above), there lies an impressive tree.
From the bridge, I took a photo looking across the river. The low sun was lighting a patch in the branches.
I later took another photo looking between the factory and an adjacent hut. It is so-so and probably could have been better if I had tromped through the snow to a better vantage point. However, I was sticking to the plowed road, thank you very much.

Your snowfalls are so more impressive than here in Nashua, NH, as our recent snows were nothing compared to ones you have shared. Snow clinging to tree branches is always magical.
I really like that first photo.
Lovely shots!
The scenes look magical! Great captures!
I love that where most of us would think about getting home and warm, you think, ah, a chance for great pictures! And they are.
These are all worthy of your cold toes. And I notice the buildings all have correct vertical lines...meaning often there is a cant to verticals above the view point. It must be because you have the right camera and setting.
@Barbara: It is mostly about holding the camera straight. On rare occasions, I manage to do just that. 😎
These are beautiful!
Wonderful winter shots.
Such beautiful trees and snowy scenery!
The grandkids should be congratulated for getting you out there. That last photo has good light on the left side. I can see a fine crop, for the stone.
These are really lovely. You must be very satisfied frost bite on non.
It truly is gorgeous. I really like the factory photos. They strike me as something I would see in England, those brick buildings.
I really like that first one, the balance just seems right.
Great snow shots. Yes it's sometimes hard to get off the beaten path.
That was a lovely trek!
That is definitely an impressive tree and more so with the snow.
