It's Thanksgiving weekend in Canada, which in these environs generally coincides with autumn colour. We are being kept pretty close to home this weekend, but we got out for an extremely pleasant rural ramble and discovered, much to our surprise and delight, that the colours were spectacular. We were surprised because everyone had been expecting poor colour this autumn due to our droughtish summer. As it turns out, it seems to be one of the better autumn showings. Go figure.

I lived the largest portion of my life thus far in Western New York. I saw beautiful tree colors in October, but nothing as gorgeous as this.

ReplyDeleteI love those photos. Makes me want to go out and find similar spots. Unfortunately that would involve a long drive and since I only have a bike... Good thing you're posting them though, so I can still enjoy the beautiful colours of autumn. I especially like the first one!
