Foto Friday

It's Foto Friday, an event for which I had no photo last Friday. I was just about out of luck again this week, when my friend, Doris, happened to send me these two photos that she recently took. Believe it or not, they were taken on Mount Royal, which is right smack dab in the middle of Montreal. Doris is a wonderful photographer whom I have previously featured, and she has posted many of her more recent work online at this address. She has followed these foxes since they were pups and has posted an album, Foxes Forever, which you can find at the above link.

For those who may be interested, here is a list of other posts of mine that have featured Doris's work. The last one includes one of her poems.

It's my day off and I'm catching up on my reading. I like the fox photos but must admit the best is your thoughts in "Patience and Blessings Needed".

Thanks for sharing the fox site--great photos. I can never understand why anyone would think foxes, coyotes or wolves are vermin. They are all wonderful creatures.

AC,

Red fox are beautiful creatures. Doris is so lucky to get the closeups of these handsome creatures.

I also followed the links to her other photos. Wow! She is a talented photographer.

Enjoyed my visit and hope you have a great weekend. We are going back into the deep freeze, but take heart...spring is only 56 days away.

Blessings,
Mary

I have never seen a fox in the wild. The lighting in her pictures is excellent. Middle of Montreal...must be some easy food around.

Foxes surely look comfy on beds of snow - have you thought any more about a memory foam mattress to maybe help with your back problems?

I'll visit the sites also!

Take care,

Junie

Beautiful.
I'm always easily tricked to think that I might lay my hand deep in their fur, those familiar and soft looking creatures. Alas, I'd lose me fingers.
