I was just playing around with a car selfie photo of me and Sue. I liked my chin-on-hand posture, so I decided to extract myself from the photo, or I should say crop out Sue (sorry love). I had no particular goal in mind: just wanted to see how it would work out.
In the end, I liked it well enough, but “What now?”
I have since switched to this photo in Google and Blogger because why not.
So many of my former students are retired now. Amazing how old it makes me feel! Great photo, AC.
ReplyDeleteYou got a good colour and a charming smile
ReplyDeleteI concur...you have a great smile and are handsome to boot.
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to believe that we continue to age isn't it?
I like it too. What's that bit of tape on your cap?
ReplyDeleteI don’t know. I don’t see it.
DeleteI like it. It makes a great profile pic, too!
ReplyDeleteNicely done there, sir. The anvil shape of the background behind your head is very appropriate too!
ReplyDeleteAlthough your mug is handsome enough, I think it looks slightly like you are trying to give yourself an uppercut. I guess that beats a frying pan upside the head anyday.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great photo!
ReplyDeleteThis is great! Lovely smile, too!
ReplyDeleteYes, we are experiencing a unique stage of life and doing it beautifully in my opinion! That's a very nice picture. I'm sure Sue likes it too
ReplyDeleteHandsome picture!
ReplyDeleteI do also like this new photo. The pose is nice, and the HAT is exceptional too!
ReplyDeletePipeTobacco
I really like your new picture.
ReplyDeleteNice guy, nice cap, nice pic. Linda in Kansas (wonder if DJan sees a strip of tape where the cap has a lighter white section on your right side of the cap.)
ReplyDeleteGood one.
ReplyDeleteNice photo! I too have ex students who are retired.
ReplyDeleteI really like your new photo. You look alive and with it.
ReplyDeleteNice photo. Makes me realize that the one I use is 12 years old.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great photo! I should change mine since it's a few years old. And several pounds ago.
ReplyDeleteIt’s a good one, AC, and change is good too.
ReplyDeleteThat is excellent!
ReplyDeleteIt's when someone says it's this many years since John lennon died - or whatever - that I realise how old I am.
ReplyDeleteExcellent post
ReplyDeleteI’ve been considering changing my picture. I have two, and they are both really old. The one that’s showing here is from 1993, and the one that shows other places is from 2005, when I first started blogging. Vanity stops me!
