She is a cute one. One of my granddaughters wants a cat. She's been promised one when her Mom gets a new job and they move. But who knows when that will happen so for now she's satisfied with stuffies.
I managed to capture Audrey's Miso doing much the same thing. She loved Christmas wrap, grocery bags, and, annoyingly enough, my suitcase when I was at the house looking after Audrey. I had to close it and zip it to keep her out. Luckily, she was a shorthair. That is a really fun photo. I must get boring saying how good you are.
What a lovely surprise to stumble upon! There’s something so special about finding a photo like that tucked away—especially one with as much charm as this. Dusty looks full of personality, even all these years later. I’m glad you decided to share it now!
My son has a cat that we believe has saved his life. She cares only for him; she knows what her job is. I mean to photoshop her face into a fancy neck ruff and put the photo into a nice frame for him. Someday.
What a delightful find from your photo queue—Dusty looks absolutely charming and full of mischief. There’s something so comforting about these quiet, candid moments captured in time. It’s wonderful how a single image can bring back the spirit of a beloved pet and remind us of simpler, tender days. Thank you for sharing this little gem—it brought a smile to my face.
I also just published a new blog post and would love to know your thoughts: https://www.melodyjacob.com/2025/05/body-confident-you-body-confident-kid-book-review.html
