After having coffee with the photo boys at Tim Horton's on Thursday, there was a big Tim's truck in the parking lot. Nick told me to take a photo. Being an obedient and easily led sort of bloke, I did.
Pretty awful eh?
Can one make a silk purse out of a sow's ear? Well I tried, and with a combination of my own manual work in Photoshop and the program's ability to generate a vacant parking lot, this is the result. My usual warning applies, however. Do not look at the details closely, for I am not a details sorta guy.
As long as I don't get too picky about the little things, I kinda like it.
I need to spend some time figuring out how to do things like that. I suppose I need to start with some sort of photoshop program.
ReplyDeleteThis was a Photoshop job for me because that is what I have at my disposal.
DeleteI like it!
ReplyDeleteI do too. It's nice to have an idea and then have it work out.
DeleteThat looks like a lot of work but it was successful.
ReplyDeleteNot sure about a lot, but I did fiddle and faddle for awhile.
DeleteI'd rather have the coffee, if you don't mind.
ReplyDeleteWhere would you like it? 😊
DeletePhotoShop's AI abilities are getting quite good. This turned out great. Love that sky!
ReplyDeleteThat second one is a warm and friendly photograph. I like it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jabblog; it's warm and inviting.
ReplyDeleteThose are some pretty generous parking spaces! Despite that, I'm pretty sure that there are still lots of people who couldn't park between those lines judging from my day to day adventures in the parking lots down here.
ReplyDeleteI am scared to see them on the roads. The drivers were often exhausted and sleep deprived too
ReplyDeleteWell I like the beautiful sky you created.
ReplyDeleteNice work. Inspires me to see what I can do - no, I like your photos better.
ReplyDeleteYou have a good eye for how you used the frame to get the whole truck. I like that a lot
ReplyDeleteYou could have drawn a big circle around that truck, too. Red, even.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to experiment to find out what you can accomplish. What a great way to keep the brain occupied!
ReplyDeleteI used to spend hours with 3D programs that created other worlds and merge it with my photos. Most of the time I tossed everything, but it was fun!
Dare I say I prefer the original? But it's fun to play around with a photo you're not fond of and I did like the sunset!
ReplyDeleteI hate being boxed in by several on the highway. They are scary to me.
ReplyDeletePerhaps you should add sound effects to that photo...angels singing! That is how I feel when I stumble into the kitchen and open the coffee canister. It is only fitting that a truck hauling coffee be bathed in a rare and golden light.
ReplyDeleteInteresting how you can change a photo so dramatically!
ReplyDeleteYou are a hoot!
ReplyDeleteWow, of course a person could do this, but it's still wild to me.
ReplyDeleteI love all you do with Photoshop. It's often a struggle for me.
ReplyDeleteYou beautified the scene very nicely!
ReplyDeleteWe’ve had a few Timmy’s over the years whilst visiting family in Nova Scotia. Not my favourite but the rellies seemed to like
ReplyDeleteLooks a little like ‘I’ve shrunk the truck’ in the second snap. It definitely looks smaller. Truckies see many sunrises during their travels…that or they’re still slumbering in the back of the cab
Read lately that they have changed their coffee supplier, and it isn't as good as it used to be???
ReplyDeleteNot bad. What a humongous truck!
ReplyDeleteYour edits make the truck really stand out, AC. and for the better.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about the coffee, is it as good your picture suggests? I like Debby's comment about angels singing, haha.
ReplyDeleteAficionados say that it is lousy coffee, but I think that is for those who drink it black. Most of us don't drink it black, and many of us were almost weaned on Tim Hortons, so it is ok. Tims is like a common meeting ground for many.
