And So It Begins

We are on the third day (second full day) of our ten day stint with the grands. Here is a brief update form Day 2, Saturday.

Saturday morning began with a little session in the family bed.

JJ played nicely in his room when Amma and Danica were out to her dance classes.

Danica is on her Guide float for the Santa Claus Parade. She is being her typical
shy and withdrawn self. The theme was the 12 days of Christmas,
and her group dressed as 5 golden rings.
After getting Danica loaded, we headed to the other end of the route, so we
could pick her up later. Amma and JJ are about to search for a good vantage.
We are well bundled because it was very cold.
Danica as her float went by.
We stood to view the rest of the parade. I like this photo because it shows a blurred Danica who was
jumping up and down with her usual enthusiasm for life. She called out
MERRY CHRISTMAS to one and all.

something wonderful about small-town life. Your wife, on the other hand, looks like she just dropped in from fashion week in New York.

Just looks like so much fun! And I agree with the previous woman. Your wife has a sense of style; love it!

Holiday parade? How wonderful for all of you. There's no such event in this little town. Glad Danica really gets into the spirit of celebrating.

That Danica appears to be headed for a career in theatre, no?
