Poignant Posts 4

I think that it's time to for another breathless instalment of Poignant Posts. Here are a few that I've noted recently. I think I'll list them without further comment this time. As usual, in trying to keep the list down to a reasonable length, I've not included some fine posts.

  1. I always enjoy being pointed in a good direction. My jury duty is now officially over, and I plan to chill - not up there, just here, with some good reading.

  2. Wow AC, I'm honored to have made the list.

By the way, of what kind of wood is the fence post in the pic - just curious. ec

There's more pine up there than anything else, but I really don't know. They're pretty old, I think.

  5. Cedar, I bet. Cedar was plentiful and easy to cut. And it has the added advantage of being nearly impervious to rot. Cedar posts can resist rot for sixty or seventy years sometimes. Pine wouldn't last two years in the ground.

Thanks for the honourable mention, AC!
