Rideau Antiques, The Shots

Some shots you take to record an event. That's what I mostly posted yesterday: photos to show what the place was like, joust how crammed it was etc.

But even then, sometimes you can find shots that have some photographic merit. Maybe that's overstating it, but photos you like better than the rest.

These are a few that appealed to me.

The proprietor looked up just as I was shooting a candid.

There's something about the stacking of these crates.

I liked this collection of pop bottles.
Seeing doors through a propped up door appealed to me.

Ladders, ironing boards, and doors

Jars in b&w

Sign, shapes and textures

An old tractor by the corn field

A cow with its feet in the water trough

Okay, I'll stop now.

There must be some real treasures hidden in between all that stuff. Although I am not sure who would buy the cow...

Love these photos, AC. You brought order to the chaos.

I wonder where he gets all this stuff? And does anyone ever buy anything? And anyway, how would you even find anything worth buying? So much stuff to sort through. But definitely a photographer's paradise.
The cow is a nice touch.

What fun exploring this place through your photos, John. This place is indeed an antique hunters and photographer's delight. I liked the cow cooling off its hooves.

Cliff makes lot of sales. I know a dude who visits to buy props for clients making movies!
My client was good friends with Cliff and his wife. Did you meet his son? I bought a couple of small tables and Andrew came home with me to help me unload!
