The Way We Were on Halloween 2013

For Halloween, we fed the kids early over here and them hustled them over to their place to get themselves ready to Trick or Treat although I think the tricking part has long since gone out of style. Then, we stay at their place for awhile to hand out treats while the parents and kids make the rounds.

Captain America: the boy does his superhero faces and postures really well.

With grandma and in his other helmet this time.

The princess — even without the costime.

She cast her spell on me a long time ago. Critics say that she has me wrapped
around her little finger. Of course, this could not possibly be true.

Okay, maybe it's true.

Outside and almost ready to collect goodies.

One last shot.

Later

A tired grandma is ready to go home.

Nice photos.... though I think the "later" picture is the scariest one of all....;)

I am sure you must get tired of people like me complimenting your grandchildren. But just heave a sigh and decide to bear it. They are exceptionally attractive children. Saying "beautiful" just seems wrong when speaking about Captain America. The again, maybe he would not mind since he is sensitive enough to have his picture taken with his grandma. (You have to love Captain America snuggling with his grandma.)

Very cute. I love the pic of the two of them outside. The little guy is just so in the moment. And you in the wig.. priceless. Cuppa's tired pic is just lovely. A beautiful portrait of a devoted Grandma.

Beautiful family. That adorable princess looks like you. I guess that makes you adorable, too:-)

You and the princess have much in common, especially the smiles. And, that hair just suited you, John. Danica's costume was too pretty to scare anyone, although Jonathan put on his best scareface.
