A Christmas Card Shoot

Yesterday, Sha asked me to see if I could take some photos of the kids that might be suitable for Christmas cards.

It was quite the task. For one thing, I didn't really have the setting nor the equipment to do a proper job, but it is always interesting to try. For another thing, the kids were pretty giddy, so it was kind like trying to photograph chickens under fox attack in the hen house. Anyway, we gave it a shot, and here are some of the results.

I think this ↑ was my preference, but we have more choices. ↓

Here's another (before and after) when I experimented with replacing the background. I'm not sure I like either variation for a card, but I love that laugh.

Hey John, ya did good! For not having the "proper setting or equipment" these pictures turned out great. Just what do you call "proper" anyhow? LOL!
Your grandkids are so nice looking and photogenic. Looks like all had a good time. Great!!!

Gorgeous kids. I like the first one too, but I also love the one where they are making faces.

Nice work! Even if you didn't get the angelic bit enough. All of them are card-worthy, depending on who will be getting them. Love the way you have manipulated the background in the last shot.
They sure are growing up fast.

I think I like the hugging one the best. You did a great job!

One of my most frustrating tasks is picking out photos for the Christmas card.

Even if. One of these are used for a card (I also liked the first one with the light decoys) it seems that all 3 of you had a fun time, John.
