Basically, when I'm home, this is the room in which I reside ... and it shows.
If you come to visit I'll want to make a good impression, so I'll do what I can to seem not too slovenly by clearing the surfaces such as to remove any clothes dangling from the chair. I'll do my best, but I can't promise miracles. Basically, it is what it is.
Hahahaaa....you don't want to see MY office either!
ReplyDeleteI DO understand the concept of new IN, old OUT but it's time that has me at a disadvantage...By the time I get home from work, all I want to do is get supper done and rest.

Well, if you ever want to rearrange the furniture, I can recommend the website Floorplanner.com.
ReplyDeleteI used it to "arrange" the furniture in the place where I moved my parents. Plus it's fun to play with.
Just as long as you can find your way out, I suppose the room isn't too crowded.
Two Turtle Doves, and a Partridge in a Pear Tree...
ReplyDeleteI can relate A.C. When we moved in here we didn't have enough furniture or stuff to fill it up. Now we are trying to find room for things we can't seem to part with to make room for all of the stuff that we use!
Your room sounds lived in. And that's as it should be.
Love Di ♥
P.S. I really enjoyed your Mill photos. Very Nice!!
Everyone needs a room like that. We have one and often it is where the younger people gravitate to when we have company. It never looks messy to me until I see a picture of it.
ReplyDeleteNever enoough bookcases. Sounds like a fine spot to me and my room has kids' toy boxes and camera cases and discarded sweaters all over it too.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds perfectly lived in, to me.
ReplyDeleteAC, after reading the list of what's on your room and reading the post, I was especting to see one of your photos. Your room sounds very much like my back room, complete with extra office chair for visitors.
ReplyDeleteThat's not too bad unless you forgot to tell us about the left over food, coffee cups, over flowing wastebaskets, etc. Hmmmm, I wonder, like Beatrice, why no picture ???
ReplyDeleteSounds perfect. :)
