We took the Bonnie Wee One shopping in town with us the other day. Cuppa thought she was pretty cute walking along beside me holding the bag.
She fell asleep on the way home in the car, so we drove many miles out of our way, so she wouldn't wake up too soon. Have you ever done that?
AC,
ReplyDeleteI remember when my daughter was little that my husband and I would drive her around in the car so she wouldn't wake up. We also drove her around in the car to get her to settle down and go to sleep when all else failed. Our policy...whatever works.
Beautiful photos. It's to be warm today. Yah. Enjoy.
Blessings,
Mary
You know with 6 kids we did a lot of riding around. Now days 8 in a car would not work. Of course we did not have seat belts back then. They were so crowed in they were not gonna fall out. She is an ideal of perfection with the little puckered lips. Such an angel.

I was admiring your first picture on Flickr yesterday. I like the surreal effect of your edit (was it HDR?) Sleeping children are so sweet.
ReplyDeleteTwo super photographic compositions here - full marks to the camera wielder1
ReplyDeleteHaha, oh yes, many times I kept driving.
ReplyDeleteMost children seem to fall asleep with the motion of the car. I too like the affect you've achieved with the first photo.
ReplyDeleteYes ~ Many times!!
ReplyDeleteOh yes - done that lots of times.
ReplyDeleteWe often took the long way home to avoid waking sleeping children. I love the special effects of the first photo.
ReplyDeleteMemories.....precious...hughugs
ReplyDeleteI miss the days when they would sleep like that. My back was badly shot for four years while they were toddlers, lugging their sleeping bodies into the house.
