Let's begin Foto Friday with a somewhat unique photo of Cuppa that I took last weekend as she walked into a patch the sunlight in the woods on a colourful autumn afternoon.
As good Canadians we all endeavour to raise a proper Canadian girl who is devoted to Tim Hortons. Here she is with Mom at Tims and seems to be loving it.
Scenes from around the house this week. Below, I was working in the kitchen and turned to find that she had pulled down her colouring and was going to it. She was quiet and absorbed, which I was grateful for, and I continued to cook. She only coloured the floor a little bit, and it was with washable crayons, so it was all good.
Jill in the Box?
The pint-sized pumpkin that we/she brought home from the outing to the store last week.
Finally, here she is doing outside work with the same pumpkin (with a normal-sized one in the background).
Tim Horton's pumpkin muffins are pretty good. Is she going to be a southpaw?...it is likely too soon to tell.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. It sure does look cold - nice warm clothes on now!
ReplyDeleteA proud Canadian - I love it :)
ReplyDeleteAren't the washable crayons/markers wonderful??
I love the pic of Cuppa in the sunlight.
ReplyDeleteThese are great pictures. The one of Cuppa is so good, as is Jill in the Box. (They're all good, really, but those two stand out). The pint sized pumpkin seems the perfect size for Nikki Dee. Is she going to draw a face on it?
ReplyDeletekeep up the Canadianishness. Don't let anyone tell you it's dorky
ReplyDeleteI betcha Cuppa was all warm and toasty after that moment in the sun. Followed quickly (probably) by a slight chill. Nice photos!
ReplyDeletesuch a cutie, love her little fleece clothes!
ReplyDeleteYour Walking towards the Light photo is lovely and the caption is perfect.
ReplyDeleteLove all the photos of the little one. They bring such innocence and joy into our world.
Blessings,
Mary
That is a most beautiful picture of Cuppa. Lovely capture.
ReplyDeleteAnd your little one just gets cuter every day. Thank goodness for washable crayons. Absolutely love the pink outer wear and pink hat. The black patent shoes are the perfect accessory. :-)
Hi AC,
ReplyDeleteYes, I love that picture you got of Cuppa, too. The shadow looks really cool- so LONG...:) lol- I doubt if my shadow could ever look that big, since I'm just 5ft. tall!!
And those of your baby girl are cute-cute-cute!!
Junie
The photo of Cuppa is VERY cool. You have such lovely fall colors up there.
ReplyDeleteNikki Dee is cute as always - washable markers and crayons are DEINITELY the way to go. I'm sure you already know this, but washable crayons ought not to actually be WASHED in the washing machine. Uh, I've heard.
