Funny Sleeping

... on her first monthaversary

Sleeping Funny

When will these blogs stop, you ask. These baby blogs. Soon, I guess. The first month is pretty special, and one wants to capture as much as possible. Well, she was one month old today. Mom and Grandma went out for a little walk, leaving grampa in charge of the Smudge. Just in case you were wondering, we got along really well. One minute she was wide awake, and the next found her asleep in this really odd position. It's a wonder that my giggling didn't wake her up.

I understand her incredible cuteness, really I do. I mean she's a tiny baby, isn't she? But I must admit to a certain degree of jealousy about all that HAIR! It's not fair, I say. It's just not fair!

They seem to be made of rubber, don't they? Our necks would hurt like the devil if we slept like that.

She's a pixie! She's a fairy! She's just too gorgeous to be real :0)

BTW - Don't get too anxious about cutting off our picture supply, eh?

Hah! You think these baby posts will stop soon? No way! Next month you'll be telling us how unique and lovely the second month is! You are a proud doting grandpa and I don't think you'll stop posting pictures of the little darling. That's what grandpas do.

I, for one, truly enjoy these "baby blogs". Did your arm get cramped having to maintain this position once she fell asleep? She is darling, that's for sure.

Some more delightful poses and grandpa with a stiff arm no doubt but I'm sure it's well worth any discomfort to be cuddling such a cute little bundle.

AC - Your post-a-comment tab is off on your recent post. Very pretty late day pix. I love the light when the sun is low. Yeah. I'd like to do 'younger and fitter' again :0)

Don't stop!

At least you post human baby pictures.

I'm all about the baby robins nesting just outside my closet window.

Geez. It occurred to me that my above comment could be misinterpreted. When I said 'don't be anxious' about cutting off our supply of Smudge pictures - it'd been more clear if I'd said 'don't be over eager . . . . ' Please! Keep 'em coming :0)
