In addition to the photo on Cuppa's blog, these photos are dedicated to Heather for whom dandelions have special meaning. I took these photos on our Wednesday trek.
I feel so HONOURED! Bouquets all over the place for me! What a treat! My dad must be smiling down from heaven to see so many people enjoying the simple, unappreciated dandelion. He always had a way of finding beauty in things other people overlooked.
Perhaps I should start a photo contest strictly for dandelion photos :-)
I just found your blog through a comment you left on Swamp Thing. Love the photos!
We have neighbors who go to great lengths--chemical and otherwise--to rid their yard of dandelions. I think those spots of yellow on green are lovely. Come to think of it, if I even had a yard to speak of (ours if mostly forest floor), I would buy a goat or a llama and let them mow it daily.

Heather, dandelions are always safe and appreciated in our yard here in North Carolina -- another bouquet for you.
ReplyDeleteThose are TJ's favorite flowers! He always picks them and gives me one whenever he sees them.
