Late Autumn at Riverside

After much less than conducive photographic weather, there were clear skies during which I found a few minutes to drive to the park. My hope was to catch some colour lingering on some of the trees, and I did: not on those three adorable, little red maple trees, which were done, but lots of yellow and some orange and well as quite a blanket on the ground.

I do remember Sandy Stephens. As a matter of fact we were in the same freshman phy ed. class at the Univ. of Minn. in 1960. It was there he trounced me badly several times in handball matches...:)

That is the one thing I do miss here. Not the colour, they can have great colour here too. But an ordinary flat surface to walk on. Here it usually goes up and down and always more up than down it feels like and any walk or stroll becomes a hike!

Very lovely, but I can feel the chill in the air from my monitor. LOL
