I took this whilst waiting at Wheelers for our Toronto company to link up with us.
Cuppa then led us on a walking tour of Perth ...
... where there are many interesting and fine old buildings ...
... and this one with a picture and a sign that I liked.
My BIL is really into photography and carted his tripod around town. He had just taken a photo of the house where the last duel in Ontario was fought. One guy died, and the other got the girl. Really.
A BBQ supper with only Cuppa missing (although we only see the top of the back of Zach's head). Someone had to take the picture.
The next day we went to Temples. I grabbed BIL's camera to take a picture of him with SIL. It's hard to get pictures of the two of them together, so I'm sorry this one didn't turn out better.
Our meal was followed by a saunter through the sugar bush and these two pictures of the sisters.
Th th that's all folks.
I love Perth. What a beautiful town. I just wish it was within a comfortable day's drive from Toronto.
ReplyDeleteI came to visit this morning and was informed by my anti-virus that your site was dangerous! So just what were you doing AC! Anyway it appears to be safe now so I can say that it looked like a lovely weekend! And pretty nice weather too! Love Di ♥
ReplyDelete...I WANT that 3 story House!! Wrap it up and FedEx it...quick!
ReplyDeleteHow BEAUTIFUL!!!
Glad y'all had a good time!!

This site never really changes, so I expect that AV warnings etc would be wrong.
ReplyDeleteOh how I miss you all!!!
ReplyDeleteI loved the tour! Happy you all had a fine weekend!

Lotta hackers hacking Blogger blogs lately, AC. Really nasty trojans. They are piggybacking them on jpegs, pretty sophisticated by still quite evil. Of couse Google likes to keep it quiet!!!
ReplyDeleteOoops...
ReplyDeleteHere's the "r" that is supposed to be in "couse."
What! Where's the photo of the town hall dome?
ReplyDeleteHanging out in my backyard, that's what you were. We figured the camps would be mega busy so stayed home and made our own pancakes.
Perth is lovely, isn't it - gorgeous buildings with real character.
Hi Anvilcloud, lovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteSeems its warm in your part of Canada.
I like the old houses. The one with the duel must have an air of romance about it.
I am for non-violence, but prefer diels to guerilla warfare and terrorism. The Maoists insurgents killed 76 cops yesterday in an ambush in my country.
What a festive-feeling outting. Did you know there's a novel of the duel too? http://www.emcperth.ca/20090917/events/New+book+dramatizes+story+of+fatal+duel

ReplyDeleteI love your outdoor outings. The scenery is always so crisp and clear looking. Must be the photographer. We have storms coming and all the April showers for sure.

Welcome Amrita. I'm glad that duels are a thing of the fairly distant past.
