Jabber Fries

The picture doesn't lie; we have a lot of fun with Nikki Dee. While she's not going to have as many sleepovers at Amma's and Buppa's now that we're babysitting every weekday, we simply must find it in our hearts to have her over sometimes since it really seems to mean a lot to her — and to us, of course.

When it was time to take her home on Sunday, we wondered whether, seeing as it was a nice day, we should go for a bit of a drive first. But as soon as we got in the car, she began jabbering about Walmart and McDonalds (ours being inside Walmart). So that's where we went.

The last few times that I've taken her there or elsewhere for that matter, she's tried to push me to the side when we stepped up the cashier. She did it again this time to both Cuppa and me. This time we did step back just to see what would happen.

Cashier: What would you like?
Nikki Dee: jabber jabber jabber jabber jabber ... apple juice.

Cashier: Would you like anything else?
Nikki Dee: jabber jabber jabber jabber jabber ... french fries.

Maybe you had to be there, but it was really, really funny. And she got the order exactly right.

Brilliant! I bet that the cashier was fluent in 'jabber' and I reckon she made your day sorting out Nikki Dee and her fist official order at Maccy D's!

She is definitely got self-assurance. True takes good parenting and grandparenting to encourage that. Of course, being beautiful doesn't hurt.
