Saturday was our pie pickup for TG, the proceeds going to youth clubs this year. As is often the case for the TG pies, it was a splendid day.
The route doesn't change, so the photos are not very different year to year. I took these on the way home.
In the afternoon, we took Jake for a walk in the park. Colours across the river were looking pretty good with some reflections.
Sue took one of me walking the crazy dog. However, if we want to go for an exercise outing, we must do it
sans dog because walking Jake is a long and interrupted event with copious pauses to sniff along with a prodigious amount of leg-lifting. It is certainly more fun for Jake than for us.
Ha, but will we see the pie too?
ReplyDeleteYou remind me that I did not take any autumn shots last year
ReplyDeleteThere has sure been a slate of beautiful days of late. Gorgeous colours.
ReplyDeleteLovely autumn trees 🍂
ReplyDeleteGlad you got out and about!
ReplyDeleteI think the photos are gorgeous. I also see you are becoming a dog person. LOL
ReplyDeleteI am loving the golds and reds of your trees now. Jake has to check "pee mail" like every other dog does, how else does he know what's going on?
ReplyDeleteWalking a dog that stops for every post sounds like a very slow way to see the colours, but the reflections across the river came out nicely. I like that the pie route stays the same every year, there’s something nice about a tradition like that. Hope it raised a good amount for the youth clubs.

Lovely colors!
ReplyDeleteI wish our Thanksgiving was earlier like yours. I may make a pumpkin pie just because.
ReplyDeleteAs a senior dog, his walks are slower. :)
ReplyDeleteIf you'd like a few days with Hannah you'd be moving right along! Just kidding, I know you are a cat person!
Those photos are beautiful. The curving road is gorgeous!
That one with the colors reflecting in the river are stunning and more colorful than what we have here!
I saw a meme: a dog sits staring across a wooded field. It is captioned 'My dog surveying land he now owns, bought with 3 drops of pee.'
ReplyDeleteYour sunlit trees are gorgeous. The light makes them glow.
Happy Thanksgiving! Why do I think you are just going to have a fabulous day! (Some animals are not conducive to aerobic exercise. Lizzie is definitely one of them! Now you have one too!)
ReplyDeleteGreat colours!
